We got together with Kerry and Anthony just a few days before Anthony shipped out for the Navy. It was a tough session for Kerry, and there were some tears. We enjoyed this special time with them and can't wait for Anthony to get back!

Name Change!

Well, we've been waiting for several years for www.loveisart.com to become available. (It was sitting around unused.) We finally got it!!! Yay!!! We're so excited we've been doing somersaults. We decided long ago that www.johnsonweddingphotography.com was a little on the long side to type out. www.loveisart.com is soooo much simpler, and much, much prettier, too! Since we believe that love is art, this is a perfect fit for us. We may have changed our name, but don't worry, the gorgeous photography, our laid-back approach, and friendly personalities are all the same!!! We're still the Johnsons!

I know it's been a while, but we were just reflecting over last year.

It was a year of tremendous growth for us!

Breonny's Birthday

Happy Birthday, Breonny! Breonny just turned 25 today--finally hit that quarter century mark. She says she's too busy to celebrate. We'll see about that. Happy Birthday!

Finally Named the Baby!!! (sort of)

Well, we have finally chosen a name for our little honey. After many long discussions, we agreed on Bryndel. It is a variation of the Hebrew name Breindel, which means "blessing". It fits my sweet baby girl.

However, we're still arguing over the middle name... We'll see how long that takes.

Ryan 's Birthday

Happy Birthday, Ryan! Ryan is 29 again today. (Shhh, don't tell him I told.) He'll be celebrating by reminiscing about all the things he should have gotten done this year, but didn't. Well, it sounded good anyway. Happy Birthday!!!

This Year is off to a Busy Start

Well, we haven't had any weddings yet. (Of course, we scheduled it that way because of the baby!) However, we're already off to a busy start! Our phone is just about ringing off the hook! (Yay!) This is our heavy booking season, and it looks like it's going well! We've got quite a few engagement sessions scheduled. We're excited about those! We love engagement sessions. It gives us such a wonderful opportunity to get to know the couple before the wedding day. Did I say we love what we do? Well, we absolutely love what we do!!! I hope 2008 is as spectacular as 2007 was. Thanks to all of our 2007 couples; we wouldn't be here without you! :)

New Year, New Baby x2!

I almost forgot to add! Our precious little pink girly thing is not the only new baby this year. My older sister welcomed her first born into the world on December 30th. He's pretty stinkin' cute, himself!

New Year, New Baby!

We had a beautiful baby girl join us yesterday at 2:04 p.m. She's just gorgeous and has a little dot on her head! She was born in the comfort of her own home and was tracking objects last night. She's been alert and perfect. I guess that's what happens when babies don't get drugs in their tiny little systems. Anyway, we don't have a name for her yet. We'll see how long we argue over this one!
